Dr Mark McGinley BVSc

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Mark joined our team in late 2019, after making the move to Australia from New Zealand with his wife and daughter, along their dogs and cats. Mark is a kind, knowledgable vet with 30 years experience. Mark has worked in both small and large animal practice and spent some time in the UK as a veterinarian. He has experience and a strong interest in orthopaedic and complex surgical cases. Always with a smiling face and a caring nature, Mark has been warmly welcomed by our clients and patients. 

Rhiannan Lynch

Practice Manager and Veterinary Nurse

Rhiannan has been with the clinic since December 2016 and has completed a Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing. She is an energetic and passionate team member and holds a strong relationship with our regular clients and patients. Outside of the clinic Rhiannan is a wildlife carer, undertaking the rehab and release of injured and orphaned wildlife. She is also kept busy with her two dogs Immy and Bruiser and four birds Jimi, Dusty, Polly and Franklin. 

Lisa King

Veterinary Nurse

Lisa has been with the Battery Hill team since September 2015 and has completed both a Certificate 2 in Animal Studies and Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing during her time with us.
Lisa's kind and down to earth nature is a great asset to our clinic, with both clients and patients finding her very welcoming. Lisa has a strong interest in orthopaedic surgery and caesareans.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys motorbike riding, camping and spending time with her family. At home, she's kept busy keeping up with her staffy puppy Saidee!

Kara Tappin

Veterinary Nurse

Kara is a Certificate 4 Veterinary Nurse that joined our team in 2019, with a background in specialist surgery. Kara is friendly, motivated and carries a positive attitude everywhere she goes. She has an interest in surgical nursing, critical care and all things cats! Her interests outside of work include travel, live music and spending time with her two cats Macie and Randle. 

Mandy Martin

Customer Care Co-ordinator

Mandy is our customer service superstar! She is the kind voice you will catch over the phone and the smiling face you will see on arrival to the clinic. Mandy has several years experience in the veterinary industry and her organisational skills, caring nature and love for animals makes her a wonderful addition to our busy little clinic.
